Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Nursing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessments, communication, problem-solving, caring relationships, time management, leadership, and teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate appropriate assessment and intervention skills that are age specific in all interactions and delivery of nursing care.
  • Assess patients' physical/psycho-social status and analyze relevant data.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions based on continued assessment, prescribed orders, and input from other care providers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, providers, and management in an accurate, considerate, and timely manner.
  • Apply patient-specific communication skills in culturally sensitive and age-appropriate interactions.
  • Collect and integrate data from multiple sources and seek assistance/information as needed.
  • Empower critical thinking skills to achieve outcomes and solve problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or AAS in Nursing with BSN completion within four years of date of hire.
  • Minimum three years' experience in Emergency Nursing.
  • BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within one year of employment.
