The technician will also address and rectify any discrepancies found during audits, ensuring that all inventory data is accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts systematic checks of stock locations using digital tools and handheld scanners to verify that items are stored correctly.
- Adjusts inventory records when audits indicate discrepancies in stock levels.
- Alerts management to significant variations in stock levels to facilitate timely corrective actions.
- Investigates the root causes of inventory discrepancies, including product counts and storage locations.
- Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to manage inventory effectively.
- Responds to inquiries from team members regarding product availability and locations, providing necessary assistance.
- Assists in receiving shipments, including unloading, verifying quantities, and updating inventory logs.

- Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintains a tidy and organized workspace.
- Identifies and reports any quality or safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications:

- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Capability to stand and move for extended periods in a dynamic environment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment due to equipment operation.
