Maintenance Team Lead

A qualified Maintenance Supervisor for our growing team. We are seeking an organized, responsible maintenance supervisor to lead and develop our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and technical work with excellent leadership and communication skills. Tools and transportation required. Key Responsibilities:
- HVAC trained and certified a MUST
- Skilled in all aspects of maintenance: plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, pool
- Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance employees, procedures and operations
- Train new employees in maintenance work processes and safety procedures
- Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work
- Record and track daily progress of maintenance team
- Communicate daily with the Property Manager
- Help create and adhere to maintenance operation budget
- Maintain current records for unit/building maintenance
- Ensure maintenance shop is kept clean and organized
- Manage proactively a critical parts list in maintenance shop
- Maintain vendor relationships and order maintenance supplies as needed
- Authorized to work in the US
Job Requirements:
Maintenance Supervisor will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities including delegation of tasks, manage overall maintenance programs of the property, and implement/supervise preventative maintenance. The maintenance supervisor insures completion of work orders within 24 hours and make-ready turn arounds in a timely manner. They work hands-on as required or directed by Property Manager.
