New Story Schools is seeking an experienced Behavioral Therapist to lead our team in Elizabethtown, PA. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at New Story Schools In-District Services (IDS), you will play a crucial role in enhancing special education by providing BCBAs, Teachers, RBTs, SLPs, and Paraprofessionals for local school districts.

Salary and Benefits

Our salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance of up to $10,000, no billable hour requirements, paid time off, flexible schedule, tuition reimbursement, health and wellness benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual assessments of students to identify learning and behavioral needs and developing initial programming with ongoing modifications.
  • Creating Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), as well as social skills and skill-based assessments.
  • Assisting in the development of IEP goals, focusing on behavior reduction, replacement behaviors, and data collection methods.
  • Providing direct and indirect behavioral services, interventions, instruction, and supervision to students, teachers, and classroom support personnel in individual and group settings.
  • Overseeing one or more students' ABA programs in the classroom, including supervision of paraprofessionals working directly with students.
  • Providing supervision to assigned RBTs, BTs, and other classroom staff, supporting identified goals in accordance with BACB guidelines.
  • Monitoring and analyzing student progress, delivering daily progress notes for the school and families, and using data analysis to drive adjustments.
  • Developing and delivering professional development programs, including instruction in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for classroom staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • A Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study.
