We are currently seeking a skilled logistics trailer technician for our Industry & Water Segment operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our transport trailers are maintained in peak condition through effective repairs and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting repairs on all trailer components, including tires, brakes, frame suspension parts, pipes, hoses, valves, and other equipment utilized for hazardous liquid transport.
  • Executing welding tasks on various component parts as necessary.
  • Carrying out annual cargo tanker tests and inspections, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Managing inventory and procurement of parts and supplies.
  • Coordinating maintenance schedules and repairs in collaboration with dispatch and leasing partners.
  • Maintaining comprehensive equipment records and files in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of five years of experience as a trailer technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of MC312 and MC412 tank trailer design and maintenance; thorough understanding of equipment regulations and requirements; welding proficiency.
  • Certification in air brake and antilock brake systems; cargo tank inspector certification for annual inspections; confined space entry certification; CDL with tanker hazmat endorsements is preferred.
  • A self-motivated individual capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight, possessing a solid understanding of tank and loading operations.
