Whataburger Team Member

At Whataburger of Mesquite, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Team Member to join our team. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer has a positive experience at our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:- Protect and promote the Whataburger brand at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by recognizing and addressing customer service problems.
- Support food production by preparing and stocking various food items as directed by management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
- Assist with maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned.
- Participate in sales promotions and marketing events during work time.
- Operate designated food production or customer service stations as directed.
- Accurately state Whataburger menu items, product ingredients, and availability to customers.
- Stock drink, fry, and dining room stations to maintain continuous service.
- Efficiently prepare produce items using proper handling, rotation, and storage procedures.
- Maintain sufficient amounts of prepped produce for the next shift.
- Follow established recipes for preparing and serving Whataburger products.
- Maintain all utensils and food production equipment in good working order.
- Follow proper procedures for lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Mop spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents.
- Notify management of any leaks or equipment failures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper handling and storage of sanitizing and cleaning chemicals.
- Clean customer service areas, including outside landscaping, building entrances, and restrooms.
- Dispose of trash properly.
- Achieve certification in all cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push.
- Ability to read (orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc.).
- Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items.
