Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at International Medical Placement, Ltd. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations, including obtaining patient history, ordering labs, diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals.
  • Uphold excellent bedside manners and ability to create a great patient experience.
  • Explain medical procedures and plan of care to patients.
  • Responsible for in-patient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults.
  • Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating and studying medical histories.
  • Document patient care services by charting in-patient and department records in EPIC.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Ability to obtain a New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience with inpatient medicine and the ability to work independently with cardiology patients.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification desired.
