We are seeking an Infectious Disease Specialist to join our team at Southern New Hampshire Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating infectious diseases, both common and exotic, acquired during travel or within the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-travel consultations for patients, assessing health history, immunization records, and travel itineraries.
  • Develop personalized recommendations for immunizations, medications (including malaria prophylaxis), and other preventive measures.
  • Provide education and counseling on travel-related risks and healthy travel practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • MD degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
  • BC/BE required.
  • Fellowship in Travel Medicine preferred.
