About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our Post Surgical team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and services.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support engagement efforts by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization, including training and development, conflict resolution, and discipline.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.
  • Minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care setting.
