Role Summary:
We are in search of a Director of Advanced Analytics & Insights to spearhead and enhance the organization's data analytics capabilities in collaboration with key stakeholders. This role will align business objectives to generate insights, identify growth opportunities, optimize operations, encourage innovation, and support data-driven decision-making. The Director will oversee cross-functional teams, guiding various business units in developing and assessing new and existing strategies to maximize the value derived from data assets.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Implementation:
• Equip business units with data, tools, and models to derive insights and establish metrics/KPIs, driving data-informed decisions to meet organizational goals.
• Collaborate with product, finance, and other departments to deploy innovative technologies, platforms, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of analytic platforms, promoting user adoption and productivity enhancements.
Advanced Analytics and Data Science:
• Utilize expertise in Advanced Analytics, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Analytics, Data Fabric, Data Integration, Data Visualization, and Generative AI, to transform data into a strategic asset.
• Define and execute effective data acquisition and integration strategies to monitor and enhance performance and scalability of data solutions.
• Promote the adoption of self-service analytics and tools to continuously improve the strategic use of data across the organization.
Agile Delivery of Data Solutions:
• Employ agile methodologies to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders, to swiftly develop and refine Data Analytic and BI solutions.
• Formulate a strategy to democratize data through AI-driven self-service analytics solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of data solutions that meet evolving business needs and generate incremental value.
Business Collaboration:
• Oversee and partner with business units on data initiatives, driving proofs of concept, prototypes, pilots, and projects to ensure alignment with business needs and value delivery.
• Lead the design and development of data and analytical models, dashboards, reports, visualizations, integration, and automation.
• Educate stakeholders on the advantages and capabilities of data analytics.
• Deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to business leaders.
• Monitor and report on the impact of data initiatives on business performance.
Leadership and Team Development:
• Mentor a team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and BI developers.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the data team.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and daily activities of team members.
Technology and Tools:
• Assess new advanced analytical capabilities that align with the enterprise data strategy.
• Identify tools and technologies to deliver effective solutions that meet business requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains a leader in data innovation.
Performance Metrics:
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of data initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
• Align data team KPIs with business KPIs to ensure data activities yield measurable value.
• Regularly review and report on KPIs, using data to identify improvement areas and drive strategic, data-informed decision-making.
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Strong grasp of data governance, quality, and management best practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

• Technical proficiency in data modeling, analysis, and visualization tools, including BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, Python/R, and machine learning frameworks.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data strategy, advanced analytics, data management, or related roles.
• Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates a similar level of expertise.
