Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency services area, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Ability to manage complex workload, with prior EMS or ED experience preferred.
