Renal Oncologist

Job Summary

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Onco-Nephrologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our institution, you will specialize in the management of kidney-related complications in cancer patients, working closely with oncology teams to enhance patient outcomes through integrated care.

About the Role

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases in cancer patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Provide consultation for nephrotoxicity associated with cancer treatments.
• Manage electrolyte disorders and other renal complications specific to oncology patients.

Requirements

• MD or DO with board eligibility in Nephrology.
• Onco-nephrology fellowship training and/or experience in Onco-Nephrology is highly desirable.
• Strong interest and demonstrated experience in the management of nephrotoxicities and renal complications in cancer patients.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year
