Highly Skilled Mechanical Engineer for Innovative Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering and Design Team at Olsson. This team is at the forefront of engineering innovation, providing comprehensive services for large commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to contribute and work well with a team. They should also possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and registration as a professional engineer with at least six years of relevant engineering experience are required.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to generate ideas and create purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs. You will perform detailed engineering tasks including project design, cost estimates, and design calculations utilizing advanced knowledge and experience.
Some key responsibilities include preparing project documents, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, aligning with project objectives. You will independently tackle complex assignments, developing new and improved techniques and procedures, and coordinate across other Olsson teams and direct team members on design tasks to maintain alignment with project goals.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $105,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Registration as a professional engineer with at least six years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to contribute and work well with a team
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong understanding of International Building Codes
