Metal Fabrication Specialist

The Fabricator/Welder/Installer position at Concord Awning is a vital role that involves fabricating and installing high-quality custom awnings and canopies across New England.

This position requires a strong candidate who can take pride in their workmanship, adhering to strict quality control standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable working at heights, and be able to lift 50 pounds above their head.

Beyond fabrication and welding, this role involves assisting in installations, performing field work, and collaborating with experienced staff to deliver exceptional results.

• Fabricate and install custom awnings and canopies with precision and accuracy.
• Assist in installations and perform field work with other experienced staff.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to tight deadlines and quality control standards.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment as required.

• 1 year of MIG welding experience (TIG welding a plus).
• Proficient in the use of power hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform fraction to decimal conversions.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting 50 pounds above their head.
• OSHA 10 certification a plus.
