### Overview

ECPI University is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our faculty team as a Biology Faculty member. As a faculty member, you will provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes.

### Responsibilities

* Provide instruction in biology courses to students in a dynamic and student-centric learning environment
* Develop and implement effective lesson plans and assessments to meet learning objectives
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessments
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in the field of biology

### Qualifications

* Master's degree in Biology or Anatomy & Physiology, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution
* Applied or practical work experience preferred; 2 years teaching or presentation experience a plus
* Strong academic and professional record
* Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction
* Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment
* The highest levels of integrity at all times
* Orientation toward results
* Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
