Position: Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist

We are in search of a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, focusing on providing essential support to elementary students. This role involves working with a diverse group of students in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech and language capabilities to formulate and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and prepare detailed reports highlighting strengths and areas for improvement in speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Utilize current research and professional literature to inform practice and enhance service delivery.
  • Create a supportive learning atmosphere through effective management of instructional processes and materials.
  • Engage in IEP meetings and collaborative discussions with educational teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with instructional staff, focusing on the strengths and needs of each child and their family.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant educational guidelines and standards in evaluations and service provision.
  • Support educators in identifying and addressing speech and language challenges among students.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the educational mission.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • New graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
