Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing personnel in preparing patients for surgery and maintaining a sterile environment
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and attention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field preferred
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Experience as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting; certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) preferred
