**Job Summary:**

At Pratt Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Take vital signs and assess patient condition to detect deviations from normal.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisors or physicians of patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments.
  • Assist physicians by scribing during patient encounters, preparing equipment, and maintaining awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Develop and implement patient education plans according to individualized needs of patients.
  • Document events and decision-making in a manner resulting in accurate medical charting.

**Requirements:**

  • Licensed RN in the state of Kansas.
  • CPR certification.
  • Basic computer literacy and keyboarding ability.
  • Experience with electronic documentation software and computer-based education.
