Job Summary

The Pilot in Command is a key member of the flight crew division of the charter flight operations at Million Air. This role requires a high level of expertise in company procedures and FAA regulations to provide outstanding service to charter customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is never compromised, working closely with the safety manager.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, developing a rapport with aircraft owners and passengers.
• Inspect aircraft for cleanliness and upkeep prior to customer arrival.
• Communicate effectively with flight ops to advise of customer preferences.

Requirements

1. Possess an ATP certificate.
2. Have acquired 2000 hours total time, with previous 135 experience preferred.
3. Possess a valid 1st class medical.
4. Be highly knowledgeable of 14 CFR and FAA regulations.
5. Meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c).
6. Eligible for entry into Canada via CANPASS.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

1. Acceptable driving record.
2. Ability to pass a background check.
3. Zero tolerance drug free company.
4. Must live within 45 minutes of base airport.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is an exempt position, with varying duty schedules that require working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays. Scheduling flexibility is a must.

Travel

No travel expected outside of Pilot duties.
