Job Summary

KEDPLASMA USA is seeking a skilled Medical Screener to join our team. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our plasma donations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough donor identification, registration, and screening processes to determine donor suitability according to regulatory standards and company policies.
  2. Draw vein and finger stick samples as required, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Coordinate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure smooth and efficient donor flow.
  4. Assess pre-donation unsuitability signals, perform vital signs, and manage donor reactions in accordance with SOPs.
  5. Perform calibration and cleaning of equipment as scheduled, adhering to DCOP standards.
  6. Review donor records and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with SOPs.
  7. Monitor donors for potential issues and understand how to handle donor adverse events and collection exceptions.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent, with basic computer, typing, and mathematical skills.
  2. Ability to work flexible and/or extended shifts, with excellent communication skills.
  3. Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  4. Demonstrated accuracy in completing documentation.
Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time.
  2. Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to fifty pounds.
  3. Be able to bend, stoop, or kneel.
  4. Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
