Job Title: Haptics Product Design Engineer

Join Apple's Haptic Engineering team and contribute to the development of innovative haptic solutions that are central to our products, including the iPhone and Apple Watch.

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of next-generation haptic actuators and experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop haptic actuators and experiences that meet Apple's high standards for quality and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design and System Engineering, to determine and achieve both functional and aesthetic goals.
  • Design for manufacturability with Process, Manufacturing Design, Technical Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members through written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Manage and track multiple priorities within schedule requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with 3D CAD, 2D drafting, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
  • Strong fundamentals in mechanics and skilled at problem-solving.
  • Applied knowledge of electrical circuits, material science, and basic chemistry.
  • Team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
