Job Description
We seek an experienced Journeyman Data Management Engineer to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. The successful candidate will design and develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets and models for complex business problems.
- Facilitates the integration of cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, optimizes data processing workflows, and resolves data-related issues.
- Integrates new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms, supports appropriate data tagging for data used in all projects, assists in implementing data loss prevention measures.
Requirements:
- Journeyman level: A Bachelor's Degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work with teams but is self-motivated to complete projects independently.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance.
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 per year, based on location and experience.
