The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible/certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and/or upper extremity to enhance the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery.
As the region's largest trauma center, the University of South Alabama maintains a Level I Trauma Center with more than 2,000 trauma admissions annually. This position offers a unique opportunity to establish a comprehensive hand and upper extremity service.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in academic surgery, focusing on patient care, resident and student education, as well as trauma-related clinical and translational research.

Applicants must have completed an accredited training program and be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Alabama.
