Job Summary:

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to a Section Chief or VP, and/or others as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and meeting locations, coordinate business events, and manage travel arrangements, including air reservations, scheduling options, hotel, and car rental.
  • Develop travel itineraries in alignment with NCH standards and ensure timely completion of reimbursement requests.
  • Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers by applying best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Anticipate problems and propose solutions in advance, coordinate special projects within assigned departments, and may provide assistance in training and orientation of colleagues.
  • Create moderately complex correspondence, spreadsheets, and visual presentations for projects.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 years administrative experience preferred
  • Must complete Ambassador Program within first 12 months of employment

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for extended periods (Constantly)
  • Talking on the phone/in person (Constantly)
  • Typing on a computer keyboard (Constantly)
