Pediatric Hospitalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic academic team at the University of Utah. As a key member of our Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, education, and research opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Staff the pediatric clinical inpatient service at our two free-standing children's hospitals, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the academic growth and development of our team, participating in research, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education programs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with our faculty development and mentoring program to foster success in translational or basic research, quality improvement engagement, and excellence as educators.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Pediatrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong clinical and academic skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- A competitive salary and benefits package, including non-contributory retirement contributions of 20.2% of annual salary that vest immediately.
- A faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
