**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Mathis Brothers Furniture. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, credit cards, and financing
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front office and sales floor
- Count till bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying transactions and maintaining proper cash accountabilities
- Communicate customer service issues and requests to management
**Requirements**
- Ability to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers
- Computer experience required
- Basic mathematical skills required
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
**Work Environment**
