Job Title: IT Manager

At Magna, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies and enhance automation, efficiency, and real-time analytics in production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and communication systems, ensuring their stability, security, and scalability.
  • Ensure robust and reliable connectivity between production equipment and central IT systems, including industrial networks and cloud platforms.
  • Oversee cybersecurity measures to protect plant operations from potential cyber threats, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
  • Lead the deployment and integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as IoT, AI, machine learning, and robotics, into manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate the integration of smart sensors and devices for tracking and enhancing performance and quality control.
  • Oversee data collection from production lines, equipment, and systems, ensuring proper storage, integrity, and accessibility of data.
  • Implement advanced data analytics to drive decision-making, improve production performance, and support predictive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to design and deliver dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management, ideally within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in handling Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, robotics, AI, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
  • Knowledge of industrial networks and cybersecurity.
  • Strong leadership abilities to manage IT teams and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, materials teams.
Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily office and includes manufacturing plant.

The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with team members, management, customers and suppliers.
