Medical Director for Post-Acute Care

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Medical Director for Post-Acute Care. This is a Monday-Friday position that allows for a great work-life balance. The ideal candidate will be geriatric fellowship trained or boarded in geriatrics. However, we will consider any physician with prior geriatric experience or is open to working in the post-acute setting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage health problems and coordinate high-quality healthcare for patients
- Perform exams, complete assessments, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Supervise APPs as appropriate
- Submit accurate and timely charges for professional services
Requirements:
- Board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented attitude toward patient care
- Commitment to high ethical standards and healthcare compliance
- Ability to work in stressful situations
