Job Summary:

As a Diesel Mechanic at Love's Travel Stops, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with diesel engines, including wheel end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components. You will also assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services to ensure the safe operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine issues, including wheel end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including tire changes, fuel delivery, and other emergency repairs.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure the safe operation of our fleet.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or automotive technician.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
