Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to the HR department and Leadership team by assisting with HR functions, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and supporting special projects. This role combines general office duties with responsibilities in recruitment, onboarding, file management, benefits administration, events planning, and employee training administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, data mining, updating social media boards, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate New Hire Orientation/Onboarding and administer new hire paperwork.
- Maintain and organize HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs, administering Learning Management System (LMS) and Record Management Systems.
- Assist the HR Manager with the annual open enrollment process.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating employee engagement initiatives, and company events.
- Support HR processes by preparing and distributing internal communications, policies, and announcements.
- Assist in creating company newsletters and All Employee Meeting PowerPoints.
- Update and maintain digital communication boards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
- 1-2 years of administrative support experience, ideally in an HR setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Experience with office equipment and basic office procedures.
- Familiarity with HR practices and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and a self-starter.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Social Media Experience.
