Chief Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering operations at our resort in Pigeon Forge. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our maintenance programs and ensuring the team works together to achieve our annual business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the completion of property repairs and manage capital projects in accordance with company guidelines.
• Guide and grow team members for future career opportunities.
• Develop and implement pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department to meet strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations.
• Ensure the property's Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensure proper purchasing procedures are followed.
• Manage relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with business supporters and suppliers.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of related experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions, climb stairs, and work on ladders up to 40', push/pull up to 100 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, grasp, stoop, reach overhead.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC and OSHA certification.
• EPA certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
