Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer II to support our project managers in coordinating projects. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your engineering skills to coordinate labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in estimating, scheduling, and design, while enhancing your understanding of the design-build construction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating field labor and provide labor feedback
  • Procure equipment and subcontractors, and manage document control
  • Coordinate design, trade, and subcontractors, and support budget analysis, cost, and margin projections
  • Help develop project schedules and coordinate with vendors and suppliers
Qualifications for Success
  • Eagerness to learn with a strong work ethic and basic skills in JDE
  • Basic HVAC design knowledge and ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings
  • Competency in business writing and public speaking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills for vendor and supplier management, and ability to write and track RFIs
What You Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
  • 1-3 years of related experience for Project Engineer I, and 3-5 years of related experience for Project Engineer II
  • Experience with a mechanical contractor or as a design engineer, and knowledge of HVAC systems and design
