The Primary Therapist at Promises Behavioral Health, LLC provides individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention services, and psychoeducation presentations to clients and their families. Key Responsibilities
• Provides clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation presentations.
• Oversees residential facilities and provides clinical consultation for clients and their families.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments, develops treatment plans, and creates clinical discharge summaries.
• Collaborates with clinical case managers and family therapists to provide comprehensive client care.
Qualifications
• Master's or Ph.D. in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure and clinical qualifications or intern status licensure required.
• Three years' experience in social work or a related field, with experience working with addictions and/or mental health.
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of various models and theories of addiction, mental illness, and related issues.
Requirements
• Excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing workload and working independently.
• Proficient computer skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Expressive or training in therapies preferred, with CPR/First Aid Certification required.
