Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co-morbidities.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary care, developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
  • Complete hourly rounds, strengthening nurse communication, improving safety, and anticipating patient needs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current NV nursing license.
  • Current ACLS & BLS certificates.
  • Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
  • Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment).
