Commercial Underwriter

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Underwriter to join our team at GPAC. As a Commercial Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating credit risk and making informed decisions to support the growth of our clients' businesses.

• Conduct thorough credit risk reviews of retail and correspondent loans to ensure compliance with program specifications.
• Analyze appraisal reports to determine the acceptability of collateral.
• Verify federal, state, and company compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate credit risk decisions to stakeholders and provide detailed reviews of approved loans.
• Stay up-to-date on banking regulations and responsibilities related to loan collateral.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of complex personal and business financials.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Commercial Loan Underwriting, with a focus on larger loans and relationships.
