About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance our client experience
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Requirements
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $36.62, plus overtime after 40 hours. You will also be eligible for a retention bonus of $10,000 for eligible new hires.
