We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at ECHN. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care and coordinate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications and document the nursing process and responses to care
- Implement teaching plans for patients and families and pursue personal and professional growth
- Monitor patient status, interpret results, and utilize critical thinking skills in priority setting and delegation
- Utilize triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients
- Maintain clinical competence and awareness of all policies and procedures
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have and maintain a current Registered Nurse license
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications within specific timelines
