Genius Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center Director to lead our Head Start Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Head Start Center(s), ensuring compliance with regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records and ensure program compliance with regulations and licensing requirements.
- Recruit, train, and supervise personnel, including participation in the recruitment/selection process, employee training, and performance coaching/evaluation.
- Directly supervise others and manage budgets, secure materials and supplies, and authorize purchases.
- Work in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the needs of children, families, and staff are met.
- Develop partnerships with community service providers to enhance local delivery of comprehensive services to children and families.
- Provide information and education to the community about the program.
- Monitor all areas of program services within assigned locations and provide guidance and technical advice to assigned staff.
- Interact with parents and staff to discuss educational activities, child progress, program policies, and students' behavioral or learning challenges.
- Organize and provide training to staff, parents, and volunteers.
- Creates and submits required reports and composes and proofreads correspondence and reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Science, Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, Administration, or a related field.
- Two years of management experience, including supervision.
- Education management experience is preferable.
- Must have own transportation, a valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance.
- Bilingual ability preferred.
