About the Role
The ChristianaCare Center for Heart & Vascular Health is seeking a skilled Advanced Heart Failure Specialist to lead our multidisciplinary team and contribute to our Advanced Heart Failure Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex heart conditions, including left ventricular assist devices (LVADs).
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of specialists in managing advanced heart failure care services.
- Provide consultative and inpatient cardiac services, as well as patient admissions under the Advanced Heart Failure/LVAD service.
- Collaborate with the leadership of the Heart and Vascular Service line, Section of Cardiology, and Medical Group to support the Heart & Vascular Center's initiatives.
- Develop and implement innovative programs to improve patient outcomes and care quality.
- Participate in teaching opportunities with ChristianaCare's Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship.
About the Team
You will join a dynamic team of 4 Advanced Heart Failure Doctors, advanced practice clinicians, and heart failure task force support staff. Our section of Cardiology includes diverse community-based practices and hospital-based cardiology group members.
