Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Bernalillo Public Schools. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students over specified routes according to time schedules.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure bus safety and cleanliness.
- Comply with district policies and state regulations regarding bus operations.
- Ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Maintain scheduled stops as per time schedule.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must pass physical examination, including drug test.
- Ability to work in a friendly manner with supervisors, coworkers, and students.
- Ability to read and understand maps.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
