Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity at UCHealth

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education to ensure a positive experience
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
