Job Summary:
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of the RN
- Respond to emergency codes and participate in critical care situations
- Perform technical skills such as IV initiation, phlebotomy, EKGs, and catheter insertion
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing patients for admission, transfer, and discharge
- Transport patients with the RN to the Critical Care Units
Requirements:
- GNA/CNA certificate from the MD Board of Nursing
- Hospital orientation/training program
- American Heart Assoc. Health Care Provider Cert.
- At least 6 months of experience
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position ranges from $17 to $26 per hour, based on experience. We strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits to our employees.
