This role is integral to the advancement of new products and processes while also providing essential technical support for both existing and new offerings. The successful candidate will conduct testing procedures with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and execute laboratory and process development experiments using glassware and batch mixers.
- Conduct fundamental chemical, physical, and performance assessments across various technological domains.
- Evaluate new and existing product formulations in accordance with established testing protocols, including ASTM and other industry standards, while performing all necessary mechanical testing to facilitate product development.
- Handle materials safely, including lifting bags and buckets as part of routine laboratory tasks.
- Carry out technology demonstrations and field evaluations with limited oversight.
- Maintain detailed documentation of experiments and results in laboratory notebooks, ensuring full traceability.
- Report any unsafe practices or conditions to the supervisor immediately and take necessary precautions to safeguard oneself and others.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory, pilot plant, or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory concepts, practices, and procedures is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience utilizing computer systems for report generation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
