Job Summary

The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the medical-surgical setting, formulating a plan of care to meet the identified needs of the patient/family unit using the nursing process. The ideal candidate will have current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, BCLS certification, and previous acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct care to patients in the medical-surgical setting
  • Formulates a plan of care to meet the identified needs of the patient/family unit
  • Monitors and evaluates patient outcomes, modifying the plan of care as needed
  • Communicates with physicians, Nurse Director, and co-workers about changes in the patient's clinical condition
Qualifications
  • Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
  • BCLS certification
  • Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
