Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Superintendent to oversee the Tool and Wire Room operations at our Focus Factory locations. This role will involve monthly travel to provide guidance and oversight to maintain and improve the Tool and Wire activities at these sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe working environment within the facility
  • Provide technical guidance and support to daily operators
  • Oversee facility purchasing efforts and ensure compliance with EB and Tool & Wire Room policies and procedures
  • Assign daily taskings to onsite working leaders to ensure organizational goals are achieved for Cost and Schedule
  • Develop and maintain an effective tool room program at various offsite locations
  • Empower employees through coaching and mentoring, and consistently seek opportunities to improve their team's skill sets
  • Maintain and develop new procedures to ensure the Tool Room's procedures are effective, standardized, repeatable, and offer the most efficient way for operations to obtain the necessary material and equipment to meet their schedule objectives
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in Facilities, Maintenance or Warehousing Operations
  • Must be able to work all shifts as business needs dictate
  • Must be able to travel up to 3 weeks each month as business needs dictate
  • A minimum of 18 months supervisory experience
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD secret security clearance as a condition of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of supervisory experience is highly desired
  • College education desired
  • MDU graduate
  • Familiar with ATICTS, ATA, Oracle EBS, Cornerstone, Cribmaster and/or Corrigo CMMS
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Familiar with Lean 6 Sigma and 5S strategies in streamlining complex processes to maximize efficiency
