Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our department.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour day shift schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and radiologic technologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field preferred.
