We serve a variety of healthcare environments, including hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, hospices, long-term care institutions, and home health agencies. Our focus is on delivering highly skilled clinicians with extensive experience in Vascular Access Device (VAD) and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line insertions.
Position Overview
This hybrid role for a Registered Nurse involves traveling to numerous healthcare facilities across the Front Range while allowing for remote work at the start of shifts. The Vascular Access Specialist will be tasked with performing various types of VAD insertions, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of these devices, and providing essential patient education and support. This position requires on-site work within the Denver Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to work remotely as necessary.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in VAD and PICC line insertions
- Comprehensive knowledge of infusion therapy
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and flexibility in various situations
- Current and valid RN license
- Certification in infusion therapy is advantageous, though not mandatory
- Prior experience in home healthcare or similar environments is beneficial, but not essential
- Critical care experience is preferred, but not required.
