Position Overview
Become an integral part of our facilities team, gaining practical experience in maintenance, repair, and construction activities. This role will help you acquire essential skills in various tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, and general facility upkeep. Collaborate with experienced maintenance personnel to ensure the Taggart Student Center remains in excellent condition.
Starting Compensation: $11.00/hour Work Schedule: 20+ hours/week, Monday to SaturdayKey Responsibilities
Minor Repairs: Execute small repairs including fixing doors, windows, and drywall to maintain the facility's integrity. Basic Construction Tasks: Support fundamental construction activities such as framing, drywall setup, and minor carpentry. Equipment Maintenance: Identify and troubleshoot issues with various tools and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Cleaning Duties: Uphold cleanliness in designated areas by performing light cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
No prior experience necessary. Training will be provided. Ability to follow instructions effectively. Comfortable using mobile devices and applications.Preferred Qualifications:
