Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Nocturnist Physician to join our Rocky Mount team. As a Nocturnist, you will be responsible for providing hospitalist care in a semi-open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and E-ICU coverage at night. This role requires working exclusively overnight shifts, and we are looking for candidates who are comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hospitalist care in a semi-open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and E-ICU coverage at night.
- Participate in the code team, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
- Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Board-certified physician with experience in hospital medicine or a desire to transition into the field.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
