Job Title: Travel L&D RN - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel L&D RN. As a Travel L&D RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

The Travel L&D RN will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy. You will provide and direct patient care for a group of patients, relating effectively with other shifts and departments for optimal continuity of care. Additionally, you will provide clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assist in their development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing plan of care
  • Manage both emotional and physical patients
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate and professional manner
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Exhibits major team player qualities
  • Willingness to assist others when needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward work and others
